2019 Sierra Goes Off-Road With AT4 Model
The Sierra AT4 is GMC’s off-road version of the 2019 Sierra. The AT4 model comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management, and there is also an available 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 HP and 460 lb-ft. of torque.
The AT4 has a modified front grille that differentiates it from the regular Sierra. The front of the AT4 also has red tow hooks (on all colors). It is lifted two extra inches and has special AT4 badges. The AT4 has unique wheels with black accents and there are optional all-terrain tires. For additional off-road protection the AT4 has skid plates mounted underneath.
The AT4 does get some of the same features as the Sierra Denali. Most notably is the MultiPro tailgate with six different functions. The MultiPro tailgate can be upgraded with a pair of speakers, audio controls, and USB and auxiliary ports. The Sierra comes standard with a 120V plug in the bed, so the added audio options make it an ideal setup for a TV or other tailgating or camping accessories. The AT4 will also have the available CarbonPro bed GMC is expected to release later this year.
Although the AT4 is built for off-road, it still has some of luxury creature comforts. It is equipped with features like heated and cooled front seats, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and remote start, and more!
