2022 GMC Acadia Lineup is Getting a Few Changes
GMC is making a few changes to the 2022 Acadia lineup!
The GMC Acadia is a three-row midsize SUV that fills the gap between the smaller Terrain and the larger Yukon in the GMC lineup. The Acadia is offered in a variety of trim levels, from the base trim to the luxurious Denali. The main changes for the new model year is an update to the Acadia lineup.
The SLE will now serve as the base model Acadia, dropping the SL trim altogether. SLT AT4, and Denali trims will all remain the same and add a few new standard features and a new exterior color called Light Stone Metallic.
The SLE and SLT trims come with a 228-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four and now have additional driver assistance features as standard equipment. The 18-inch and 20-inch wheel designs are also new and a 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6 and all-wheel drive are optional on the SLT.
The AT4 trim level comes standard with a V-6 engine and all-wheel drive. The AT4 is the only Acadia variant with standard all-wheel drive but a drive-mode selector dial on the console allows you to switch between front- and all-wheel-drive setups, as well as a Sport mode and settings for slippery conditions.
The Denali trim offers front-wheel drive, a 2.0-liter engine, and a slightly more luxurious interior and chrome trim on the exterior.
