The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab AT4 comes with a factory 2-inch lift to give you some more height, and the factory covers the warranty.

Exterior

The new 2019 models have different shaped headlights and fog lights. The new GMC trucks don’t have the big air dam in the front anymore, and instead the new ones help reflect the air around the wheel. This way, it doesn’t hinder your ground clearance. It brings the air in through the fog lights first to avoid the big air dam. The AT4 has red recovery hooks and black grille as well. The vehicle has body colored painted front and rear bumpers and body colored wheel surrounds. There are new 20-inch wheels with a nice aggressive tire and new style running boards. There are also buttons on the door handle, just like all Sierras, for easy entry.

There is a multi-function tailgate on this model so you can create a work surface, have a tailgate stop, or just normal access to the bed. You can get closer access to the bed to make for easier loading and unloading. You can also create a step to hold 375 pounds, or use it as a seating surface. The step in the corner of the bumpers is now made bigger, in order to accommodate work boots easier.

Interior

This new model has a bigger cab. The wireless charging capability comes with the AT4 package, along with a universal home remote, sliding power windows, navigation, front and rear park assist, lane change alert, heating steering wheel, and the 8-inch display. The back cab is now bigger than on previous models as well. There is an integrated storage compartment and the rear seats are now heated. There is also a 12V charger and USB and USB-C charger in the back. The wireless charger is a new generation, which pairs up quicker than the previous ones. With the new AT4, you can get both heated and ventilated front seats. This was unavailable on previous vehicles, when you could only get heated seats.

Performance

The standard engine is a 5.3L, but this version has a 6.2L V8. This car also has the cab back exhaust system. The ride is going to be a little bit harsher due to the lift and more aggressive wheels, however. With the different exhaust, it’s going to give you a different driving experience than you would normally have with a truck. For having a lift, the truck is well mannered and still a good ride. You don’t get a lot of road noise with the more aggressive tires either. With trucks lifted up higher, you get a little bit more body roll, which can make you unsure on the road, but this truck gives you a confident feel. The lift has a good look to it without being too high, which also makes it easy to get in and out of the cabin.

Safety

This car has a Trailering package, to give you some additional cameras for towing. The cameras give you views of the front wheels when pulling out and, when you shift into reverse, you get different camera angles. Different angles show the trailer, a normal backup camera, and down both sides of the truck toward the back of the trailer.
